The school has already embarked on the construction of a new six-storey building which will be completed in 3 phases. The foundations were completed over the Christmas vacation last year. Full construction activity will resume this March 12, after the last exam. By the opening of the new school year in June 2010, there will be a new third floor on top of the current wooden building. In 2011 (Phase 2) the new 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th floors will be completed. And by 2012 (Phase 3) the 6th floor with a new gym and multi-purpose hall will be completed |

Upon the recommendation of the school director, Dr. Wilfred U. Tiu, the Board of Trustees appointed Rev. Dr. Leonides T. Son as the Principal of Makati Hope Christian School effective January 2010. Dr. Son holds a Ph.D degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the De La Salle University and is an ordained minister. |

Outstanding Student Award |

We praise God and congratulate senior student, Harvey Nicol Chua, for garnering the 17th Outstanding Filipino Chinese Student Award sponsored by the Aishin Foundation. He is among 12 winners coming from Chinese-Filipino schools from all over the Philippines. The awarding will be on February 27. |

25th Anniversary Celebration |

In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Makati Hope Christian School, the Spring Concert, featuring "STAR CHILD" which was originally written by Oscar Wilde and adapted into a musical play will be performed on February 20, Saturday, 3:00pm (Matinee) and 7:00 (Gala) at the Center Stage, Mall of Asia. Jaime del Mundo is the Creative Director and Darlene Hernandez Yu, the Musical Director. Tickets are available at the school's Business Office. |
